Our Guest List

As THE DAY comes nearer and nearer each day, we need to finalize our guest list. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we still have not finalized our guest list. This list is essential and the backbone of a lot of things in a wedding. Just think of the reservations for the number of heads in the reception, the souvenirs, the place cards, the invitations, the missalette, all of these rely on the number of guest that will be invited.

As suggested by our wedding coordinator, Ezra, Adrian and I listed all our friends and relatives that we want to invite. So far we have a total of 180 guests. Not including the guests that our parents want to invite. Adrian already called his mom in the States and asked her to send her guest list soon and I’ve also asked my mom to give hers to me.

Our dilemma is that the number of guests will be way over our budgeted number (which was originally 150 and became 200,and now 250 at the max). But Ezra said that the idea is to list all friends, relatives and officemates and when the list is complete, that’s the time to finalize it. If you listed more that the budgeted number, scrap those that you think are not important to be in the list. Just include the closest friends and relatives up to the 2nd degree.

I’m hopeful and positive that our list will be completed before the end of the month. So we can already decide on the “who’s in and who’s out” on our guest list.
