Wedding Liturgy

Last weekend, I was in the mood of doing something for my upcoming wedding. So I decided to do my Wedding Liturgy. Obviously, I use the most convenient tool in making my missalette. What else but the internet. I came across a local website which specializes to everything about weddings, http://www.kasal.com. And I was so glad that they have this make-you-own-missalette section. Though one must register to be able to make one. And so I did. I chose the readings, the psalms, the gospel, the Marriage rite ceremony, the blessings of rings and arrhea. It was so easy..you click here and there and the next thing is that your ready to print.

I also had another missalette at hand that i refer to, which was used for the wedding of Mario and Candice. Candice, was previously the GM at the company I work for. Anyway, i was surprise to find out that we chose the same first reading and words for the blessing of the rings and arrhea. I also chose an entrance hymn, which was not originally in my plan for choosing the songs in the ceremony. The entrance hymn will be, I Will Sing Forever . The song came about because, I was humming this song on my way home from church last night. When I saw Candice's missalette that they have an entrance hymn... I realized that I don't have an entrance song for the celebration... so i decided to include the this song in my wedding liturgy.

I can't wait to finish my missalette. I'm already in the in the part of the blessing of rings and arrhea. I've never realized how exciting making your own missalette. I'm actually imagining what will be happening in every portion of the Liturgy while I'm writing it (ok.. cutting and pasting it..heheheh). the readings, the responses, the songs, the marriage rite..hehehehe!
