My dad said that our wedding banns were announced in the mass that he attended early this morning. I was excited to go to the church and I even left the house earlier than usual so I can get a good seat and hear our wedding banns (which are announced before the start of every mass). Before, whenever I hear wedding banns, I always wonder what would it be like if they announce in public that I'm getting married. And today, I can't believe I'm hearing it. Honestly, I was so proud to hear our wedding banns being announced. It's like my moment has come. It's my turn.
Mixed emotions are coming in and out of me… excitement and weariness, elated and scared. I just hope I'm still sane come my wedding day.
