Reception Dilemma is Over

My Saturday was a productive day indeed. Waking up again early in the morning on a Saturday is becoming a habit since it’s only during the weekends that me and Adrian focus on our wedding preps. Today we were set to go back to Chateau Royale to check on their actual wedding set up. There was a scheduled wedding reception at 12nn thus, we have to be there before the guests arrived so we can take pictures and show them to Ezra. (But won't be posting the picture here, so you guys will have more things to look forward to in our wedding diba?)

We arrived at the bus station at 8:30 am but unfortunately; there were no buses yet. So we waited for 30 minutes before we were able to settle in our seats. Its 9:30am and its just now that the bus is leaving the terminal. Gosh, I was praying that we’d arrive there in time for our appointment. Obviously we are running late, appointment was set at 10:30am and it was 11am already and we were still in Tagaytay. But finally we arrived around 11:15am and what a relief to hear from the guard that the wedding entourage & guest hasn't arrived yet. And so we headed to the lobby and Rachel (the sales rep) accompanied us to the ballroom so check it out.

The setting was very simple and bare but the stage where the bride and groom will stay was designed beautifully... ala nature inspired with fountain and plants all around. They have a separate stage for the mucisians. Over-all it was ok, we just need to add some other details so it would be perfert.

Afterwards, we decided to eat in Max's Restaurant in Tagaytay. And by the time we have ordered its was starting to drizzle. The sinigang na hipon was an excellent choice for this kind of weather. After having lunch, we took a jeepney and a bus to get to Imus the rode a van to Festival Mall. Ella, (Ezra and Butch’s 2nd baby) celebrated her 2nd birthday at Jollibee in Festival Mall. Since all of Ella’s gifts will be donated to Batay Bata 163, they have asked us to bring some canned tuna instead of buying Ella a dress or a toy. So we stopped by Shopwise to get some tuna... different brands and different style of cooked tuna. I was wondering what the cashier was thinking when she started to punch in our basket of tuna and placed it in the bag. She might be thinking we were on tuna diet…hehehe!

After the fun and games at the party, we headed to Makati Medical Center to visit Lolo Paco (Adrian’s Grandfather) who was in surgery a few days ago. By the time we left the hospital the rain is getting heavier and heavier. So we just decided to forgo with our movie plans and headed home.

I’m so glad that my worries about our wedding reception end here. I will finally be able to have a good night sleep …but wait! There are so much more of be worried about, still have no priest, no choir, haven’t started printing those invitations, haven’t planned the honeymoon yet, we still need to do our wedding registry...and many more .. Oh, God help us.
